Cone Sector Study
Cone Sector Study
The Cone Sector Study at UNC Charlotte aims to redefine the essence of the Cone Student Center and its adjacent areas, alongside the broader typology of Student Center programs. Addressing vital needs for adjacency, accessibility, and comprehensive student services, the project aims to establish the Cone Center as a critical and welcoming nexus for the university. Designed as an inclusive third place for student engagement, it will support both academic achievements and personal development. Serving students, faculty, and the broader university community, the center acts as both a physical and symbolic intersection of student and academic life, complementing the Student Union and facilitating smoother pedestrian flow across campus.
